Dealing With Core Beliefs

When you seek to change beliefs or form new opinions on issues that can affect your own circumstances, you must get to the heart of what you believe “deep down inside”. so to speak. If you try to halfheartedly paint on some surface belief or opinion because it just came to mind and sounds good, that will not automatically push out deep seated central beliefs. Your personality attitude has been formed over many years and relies on a specific set of core beliefs In order to operate or function as well as it has up to now.

These central beliefs draw to themselves beliefs that reinforce and perpetuate and enhance their own substance and meaning. This is where the proof that you manifest and witness, concerning what you believe, is defined. When you try to change a belief that “threatens” all that your present personality is built on, you may encounter resistance, cynicism, skepticism, pessimism or even downright revolt.

Thoughts will flood the surface of your conscious mind and can insist that they be dealt with immediately. You may hear yourself saying things like “well if that were true what about such and such  or how could that possibly be when I see so much proof to the contrary”. These deep seated core beliefs rise to the surface and defend themselves against all opposing beliefs. You may find yourself having a “thought conversation conflict” within yourself.

The Power Of Your Beliefs

The feeling of personal belief in one’s “self” can be more overwhelmingly apparent than the conscious recognition of the belief. It can take some time to “know” what you feel and put that into conscious thought or verbalized descriptions.

If you can not see the apparent power of individual beliefs that is everywhere present in the daily life of each and every person, then I can only suggest that you open your eyes and your mind and look around and within.

As you consider example after example of these elements of manifestation; Imagination, Desire, Belief, Expectation and Appropriate Action, you can begin to form an “overall attitude” of belief and an “overall feeling” of expectation. That attitude and that feeling, more than any other singular aspect, will speed your manifestations on the physical plane. Without that attitude and feeling, it is virtually impossible to achieve the key elements of belief and expectation.

Your Life Is What You Make It

Look at this cute little saying…”Your life is what you make it”. If I tried to tell you that your life is what someone else makes it or your life is what some other force makes it, would that sound better or right to you? Doubtful. However, many think that is true and are unaware that it is no more than a belief that they hold. It may have become a part of their so-called knowledge.

Many people need to keep looking at perspective after perspective in order for the realization to, at sometime, click within them. It is my hope that this click will occur at ever increasing levels until you are producing results for yourself, in-line with your fondest desires.

People do not need self improvement. You can not improve your “SELF” or soul or essence. lf you call it your super consciousness or God consciousness or the spirit of your being, fine, whichever. It is the part of you that is perfection.

The self can not be improved or changed but your personality consciousness can be and is constantly changed, adjusted or improved through your awareness growth and your own shifting perspectives of thought. What you may actually desire is self understanding. That is different. You want to understand that part of you that is your “self”. Regarding improvement, what you usually seek to improve are your circumstances.
